That will include much less private transportation and more public or mass transportation. This will involve a reorganization of where people live. There will be development of urban villages where people live, work and shop in close proximity.
Sounds ok, but there is one major wording problem:
There will be development
It sounds like this is already all planned out. Message: “don't worry about it, it's all being taken care of”. Peak oil could be a Y2K redux if it were true, but it ain't. Nobody is developing any of this, and nobody who wants to develop it has the resources to make it happen. I would have to say that I believe there will NOT be development. We're going to have to reinhabit the old crap and pretend we're living in a development instead of an abandonment.
