“Transportation and Land Use: How to Build Smarter, Greener Communities”
Tuesday, June 23rd — 7:00 - 8:30pm
This event event is presented by the Cascade Chapter of the Sierra Club.
Transportation is one of Washington State's biggest contributors to Greenhouse gases. But, did you know, on average, city-dwellers tend to emit less global warming pollution? Density is one of the reasons, along with shorter commutes. But what about everyone else? What can we do to promote more sustainable transportation and land use outside big cities? Come find out!
There will be a panel of local experts. There will be a chance to ask questions.
This event is free and open to the public. Bring friends and questions!
