Money and Inflation
As Seattle Peak Oilers began studying the role of oil in our world, we quickly turned to looking at the global economy and money systems. These systems are fundamentally intertwined with oil, and we can’t understand oil or money in isolation. We’re fairly convinced that a mammoth inflation lies in our future as we take a second pass at Limits to Growth without any limits on the ability of banks to print money in a futile efforts to stave off one crisis after another. The essays in this section detail some of our expectations on that front.
